Cookie policy

No cookies

This website does not use cookies. No cookies are placed on your device, by this site or by a third party. This website does not load anything from third-party domains. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to ask your consent for.

Local storage for your display preference

This website stores one small piece of information in your browser's local storage: a key named "nsc-theme", set to either "light" or "dark". It remembers whether you chose a light or dark display. It stays in your browser, is never sent to my server, and is not shared with anyone.

Why this does not need your consent

This storage is strictly functional: it only remembers a display setting you chose yourself, and does nothing else. Under Article 11.7a of the Dutch Telecommunications Act (Telecommunicatiewet), strictly functional storage like this is exempt from the consent requirement that applies to tracking cookies. That is why this website does not show a consent banner.

How to clear it

You can remove this stored preference at any time through your browser's settings, for example by clearing site data or local storage for naiche.nl. Clearing it just means the website follows your device's light or dark setting again on your next visit.
