Privacy policy

Who I am
This website, naiche.nl, is operated by me, Naiche, a web developer based in the Netherlands. I am the controller for the personal data described in this policy.
What I process
This website has no cookies, no analytics, no tracking, no advertising and no embedded third-party content. There are no forms, no accounts and no newsletter. The only personal data involved is what my hosting server records automatically for every visit: your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested, the referring page, your browser's user agent, and the response status. This is the standard access log kept by any web server.
Why I process it
I use these logs to keep the website running, to diagnose technical problems, and to protect the site against abuse and attacks.
Legal basis
I process this data under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, on the basis of my legitimate interest in operating a secure and reliable website.
How long I keep it
Access logs are rotated and deleted automatically. I keep them only as long as they are needed for the purposes above, and I do not archive them.
Who else sees it
This website runs on a server in the Netherlands, inside the European Union. My hosting provider stores these logs on my behalf as my processor. I do not sell this data, use it for profiling, or transfer it anywhere beyond what is needed to run the hosting service.
If you contact me
You can reach me through my WordPress.org profile at profiles.wordpress.org/naiches. WordPress.org is public, so please do not post personal data or the details of a request there; just ask how to reach me privately and I will reply with a private route. I use your message only to reply to you and handle what you asked about, and I treat it confidentially.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access the personal data I hold about you, and to ask for it to be corrected, erased or restricted, or to object to its processing. You can exercise these rights through the contact route described above.
Complaints
If you believe I am not handling your personal data correctly, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
Changes to this policy
I can update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
